I replaced the radiator but dont remember where the temperature gauge should be when I drive. It is close to the halfway point as shown in the photo. Those gauges arent all that accurate in most cars.

Well it really depends on what temperature the car is when you start it as to which temperature area the gauge reads. Unless you mean that you always start it from the same temperature yet the gauge reads differently each time. Is the reading far from average.

I drew some extra marks on my tank so as to better see what is happening. After about 3 minutes the dash board temperature gauge should start to show something above cold. After about 10 minutes the gauge needle will be about one small division below mid scale.

No where near the red zone but I want to be preemptive if a problem is brewing.
