Not much maybe 5hp. Last I checked a cleaningflow matching was about 12 per injector. Joined Aug 28 2008.

Keeping fuel flowing properly to the engine is the responsibility of the fuel filter. However instead of producing a thin mist of fuel that fully burns they begin to generate a stream of fuel that does not completely ignite. Injectors remain clean for a longer period of time when the fuel filter is changed.
This is what lead me to change my injectors. Ran Mach 2s for five years until I started seeing excess smoke soot on my garage floor on startup and then finally Blackstone oil analysis showed fuel in my oil. Changed to Bosch RV275s and now less smoke and soot and just did a smog test NV and all indicators were much better then previous tests.
Lift the fuel rail off of the intake manifold bringing the injectors with it. This takes a good amount of force as the injectors are attached to the rail and the sprayer tips are a snug fit in the intake manifold. Dont use so much force though that you deform or bend the fuel rail.

I have read BMW shop reports of calibrating injectors on the 535i after replacement. My theory and I do not know this for sure is that normal injectors do not have to be coded for however high pressuredirect injection injectors do need to be coded for or calibrated for really You should also keep in. Secure and tighten the retainer bracket bolts in 18 turns from the bolts center outwards.
Hook up the fuel injector harnesses and electrical connectors to the fuel injectors. If your vehicle came with a fuel rail make sure to install new parts-specific O-rings onto the new fuel injectors. If your fuel injection system has a fuel rail to deliver fuel to the fuel injectors you will have to remove this before you are able to remove the injectors.
This is an easy job. First disconnect the main fuel line at the end of the rail. There may be an additional line at the other end so remove that one too.
