Just a long shot. A car or cars engine may vibrate while idling for various reasons including that the motor or transmission mounts have a problem.
After having my car serviced for oil change tire rotation and air filter replacement as I was leaving the service center my car had a new engine vibrationshake while in park or neutral in idle.

Seems to get better on longer drives as it warms up. I have an ongoing issue with a lean condition been discussed quite a bit elsewhere on the forum but I dont know if this is related. Maybe motor mounts or driveline.

I have a new 05 outback that vibrates at idle while in Drive. I have taken it to two different dealers who both hooked it up to the computer and both said that the car is running normal. I think that the engine idle speed is too low.
Well if it does it in drive with the brake on then it is doing it at a specific loadrpm on the engine causing something to rattle at a certain frequency. Maybe just maybe since the motor mount is flexing and that is causing something to vibrate something too. 2014 Silver 6spd RS 285whp 255wtq 21PSI.
2006 EX V6 Coupe 117K miles has a strange vibration at idle in park and neutral. When warm it feels like a pulsation every 2 or so seconds more of a shake or shimmy in the steering wheel and floor. Bringing the engine off idle makes said vibration disappear except when its cold.
When the engine is cold after sitting all night in a 50F heated. If the fuel intake system isnt adjusted and calibrated correctly it can cause the engine to vibrate at a high level causing your car to shake while driving at low speeds. The fuel intake system can also cause your engine to shake while idling due to the engine not getting the right ratio and amount of fuel and air mixture.
In that case the shuddering feeling is the car trying to maintain the engines turning momentum and struggling to do so. When a car moves any changes in speed produce a smaller shift in momentum relatively within the motor. That could be why the car shakes more at idle but smooths out when driving more quickly.

If it doesnt have the vibration then I bet the issue is with brake booster leaking vacuum. Just a long shot. Engine vibrates when in drive at idle.
Increase rpms and vibration seems to go away. All new mounts and new balancer. - Answered by a verified Toyota Mechanic.

If I rev the motor to 1000 rpm the problem seems to go away.
I am not getting any engine codes. I have since replaced all motor and transmission mounts 3 were broken anyway but this did not make any. I had bad motor mounts mostly the center one in my Dodge Daytona and it would vibrate like crazy at idle to the point where the dash would buzz and I could feel the vibration.
Absolutely smooth above idle. Changed the mounts and its like new. An improperly adjusted fuel intake system is another common cause of engine vibration and unpleasant shaking.

If your scantool reads live data what are the short term and long term fuel trims at idle then held at 2500 rpms for like 10 seconds. The sum of these two numbers should be near 0 but plus or minus 10 is acceptable.
High at idle that goes closer to 0 with rpms is a vacuum leak. Numbers that increase with rpm suspect fuel delivery or dirty MAF. You will feel vibration from the N20 at Low RPM.

But man that little 20 will push you back in the seat if you give it some gas. That is an amazing engine for the size. Along with the vibration I also have a lot of vibration and noise while driving at higher speeds enough to rattle CD cases in the car.
The mechanic told me he actually used the vibrating sound of the CD cases as a diagnostic tool to see how well his attempts at fixes were going I actually called my salesman on the drive home to complain.
